He keeps saying you can get a little less stuff in a largrer for about the
same money but logger isn’t always better.

Wow you guys are really stupid complaining about it being 40k. It starts at
24k with lot of features. You can get up as 40k with all the bells and
whistles, and, most of the competitors will break the 40k line to match
kia’s features. TLDR, don’t be stupid.

  5. Steve Miller

40k for the TOP OF THE LINE Sorento is not bad! Very competitive in this
class of vehicles, and looks a heck of a lot better than Hyundai’s similar
vehicle, the Santa Fe (which also maxes out around 40k). No, the Santa Fe
“Sport” does not compare with the Sorento fairly either. Impressed!!!

  6. Steve Miller

That’s why the Sorento SX Limited was so successful that they kept it with
the refreshed model, and also gave the Optima a limited edition as well,
right? Or are thousands of people buying these off the lot count as nobody?

I was just not very impressed when I saw it at the auto show. Seems small
as well. Maybe I need to drive it first. And $40K is outrageous. It’s a
    frickin Kia!

Yet they’ve already sold thousands of these SX’s and SXL’s. Keep in mind
all of the features you’re getting for the money. Kia ain’t the old kia,
    that’s forsure.

And that matters why? That’s like saying I’d rather drive a Ferrari than a
    Camry. No significance whatsoever.

Agreed! I rated the 2014 Sorento as one of the best full size crossovers
    you can buy

  11. Michael Romano

Kia really needs to rethink who their target audience is. No one with 40k
to spend on an SUV, is going to buy a Kia.

  12. DonCheeChee05

Wowsers. $40K loaded??? After two years of ownership, I would be surprised
if it’s even worth $25K. If i’m shelling out that much money, i’ll take an
Acura, BMW or Used Mercedes. I will give them credit, they are making some
nice looking cars these days. But I think this one is a little over the
top. I just leased a loaded 2013 2.0T Sante Fe and I only paid $29K. Not
    impressed!!!

  13. Slayer553826

lol, those are not even in the same class as this. Your comment is as
relevant and as me stating I’d rather buy a ferrari than this.

The “Kia is crap” mentality has to go. $40,000 is actually very competitive
    in that segment.
