lol, he said it is unique because you dont see it and you feel special, in
sweden you see passat everyshere lol, especially now since saab is gone

    atleast

Because I love VR6 Engines, it sounds good (especially with aftermarket
exhaust) its very reliable and I like VW in general. I have a supercharged
24V VR6 engine in my 2004 VW GTI and that car has been very reliable, never
had any issues even with half of its life being supercharged. And I like
    the looks, interior etc.

The Camry looks so fucking ugly! But it’s a comfortable reliable family
sedan so I’m ok with it. No too excited about CVTs found in the Altima/some
Honda accords. I think VW makes the most solid sedan.

I don’t think anything sounds better than an VR6 engine with an exhaust,
not even close. Search videos here and see/hear for yourself, you might
like it too. There are VW R32’s GTI’s with VR6 engines. As far as
reliability, I don’t care what the “statistic” says, but my VW with the VR6
has been very reliable and its going on 110K miles with over 60K miles
being Supercharged. Honda might be more reliable “statisticly” but I don’t
care, Im talking from my experience……

GERMAN ENGINEERING DOES NOT ALWAYS TRANSLATE INTO RELIABILITY. THAT’S WHY
GERMAN CARS ARE NEVER BIG SELLERS. JAPANESE RELIABILITY IS WHAT CONSUMERS
WANT, AND THAT’S WHY THE TOYOTA CAMRY IS THE TOP SELLER FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS
CONSECUTIVELY. THE PASSAT MAY HAS GERMAN ENGINEERING BUT ITS POOR
RELIABILITY RECORDS WILL PUT IT LAST IN TERMS OF CONSUMER PREFERENCES.
TOYOTA CAMRY, HONDA ACCORD, AND NISSAN ALTIMA ARE STILL THE KINGS OF FAMILY
    SEDANS.

“However why are you giving Honda;s or other brands as references to your
choice, that does not make sense” Uhm, Honda and other brands were in
question, that’s why I compared them. Besides, why do you care what I
prefer? and why is it so hard for you to understand that I would prefer, in
this case, a Passat over Altima or Accord?

With a few exceptions. 1) The base engine is a dog, not much more fuel
efficient than the VR6 and significantly less power. The 2.0 turbo 4 should
have been the base engine not the 2.5L 5 cylinder. 2) The cheap looking
analog clock. 3) lacking in high tech safety features such as lane
departure warning, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control 4) No
6 speed manual option if you want a V6.

g> “The Passat TDi is the only car that offers the size, mileage and
handling” The handling and size can be found in other cars as well, the
only advantage of the Passat is the RANGE. and it is due to the large fuel
tank. Avalon hybrid provides also decent range without as big as a fuel
tank and it does that with regular gasoline (about 680 miles/tank) >h

b> “Also go check for yourself, drive a new GTI then tell me it’s dealer
BS” It is a dealer BS. “Watch a few Top Gear episodes while your at it” I
don’t need to since GTi is the only VW that made the C&D top ten list. The
problem is the ownership of the car does not legitimize the headache that
    comes with it. >c

“WHY YOU PREFER PASSAT OVER OTHERS?” I told you several time why I prefer
Passat, I really don’t know what else you want to know lol

Actually I could give a shit about reliability, I have a warranty and if
the car breaks I get a free loaner. Spend a few weeks in the UK,
Specifically Scotland and Wales then get back to me on if Eurpoean handling
is important. Enjoy your couch on wheels.

The passat is now an American car …. Made in Chattanooga, TN…. I own a
2003 VW Passat W8 built in Germany. I have yet to have any major issues
other than general wear and tear. I love my vw but the only ones I would
buy now would be the CC and touraeg

2b> “you’re criticizing people for being closed minded but you’re behavior
is the same” My behavior is the same how? I explain what I say and why I
say it can you? There is a simple question I asked and you claimed you can
answer it. yet you failed to give a straight answer. And you started
calling me troll like a desperate idiot on each and every video you find.
So you are a bigot. “You’re worse than the Samsung vs iPhone creeps” Well,
you are typical German ass licker -#.

e> “Sorry about the grammar” Don’t worry about it, as long as I understand
you there is no problem. “And you are correct about the Jetta it’s a sad
thing to drive now. The Jetta GLI is still good” No, no. you missed the
point. Japanese and American were building cars at that level for such a
long time that Europeans can’t compete with them. If I have compare a base
Jetta with base a Cruze . I will get a better car for all its purposes. >f
